Sway bars recommendation

Depending on what your plans are for the car even F41 sway bars would be an improvement along with jounce bars and a GP bar especially compared to having none.

So I'm guessing just the rear sway bar is recommended by you. Why not the front?

36mm hollow bar is the biggest diameter swaybar I have ever seen put on the front of a car by the factory. It is about as stiff as the 32mm solid but weighs 15lbs less.

For handing, more rear bar will help the car turn. The front bar keeps the nose flat, but will promote understeer. Balance is key. Understeer inspires confidence, but it isn't the fastest way through a corner. With a large rear bar you can go into a corner too fast, let off and the nose will point in and you will hit the apex you might have plowed past with too much understeer. Go in hotter still and you may swap ends and come out of the corner backwards. A big rear bar is faster, but with reward comes risk.

I found stock 1-1/4 front and 7/8? rear on a mid 80's monte, also had the F41 bars. Just doing them with Poly bushing and Eibach springs and good shocks.

Fbody 36mm and hellwig rear here, it was an improvement over the F41 bars, but either combo is better than none...

I agree 403Olds. This is a great set up for minimal cost. The rear Helwig bar is a really nice piece, its spring rate can be adjusted and it mounts to the chassis unlike the crappy factory style bars. There are others with similar design that cost hundreds more. The front and rear bars should compliment each other to prevent understeer conditions.

What you need depends on what you intend to do with the car. Putting the biggest, baddest bar on your car may not yield the best results for a driver with occasional track duty.

I intend to have real good balance but a nice quick turn. Right now I have no sway bars and I can feel my turn when I turn. So a F41 bar or hellwig and 36mm combo would do good?

I don't have a Porsche, but if it drives like my Cutlass, it's got to be nice! I'm sure that there are better combinations, but for a economic driver option, it really handles well. The 15" tires limit it a lot.
