Thats it.
Seller says there is "major pitting on trans mounting plate" (I circled what I assume he is talking about) but didnt look too bad to me. Think this this be an issue?

Thats just typical corrosion from the cast iron Saginaw case contact. The rest of the mounting area looks OK. Be a good idea just to give a pass with a gray 3M Scotch pad (or equivalant) on the big hole to clean up any dirt/build up so the T10's front bearing retainer doesn't fight you when you put it together.

Awesome, thanks.

Ottawa, the clearance looks good to me! How far do you have the seat back? I am 5'11 but like to be on top of the pedals and wheel
That picture was with the seat near the back if not all the way. I'm about 5'11 as well. (I try to sit as far away from the steering column as possible - mild safety paranoia)
But I definitely have room to move the seat up a few notches if I wanted (the shifter doesn't throw too far back into 2nd or 4th) Maybe not "on top of the pedals", but I think a normal seat position should be achievable.

How do i identify the correct fork? I ordered the manual swap kit from The Parts Place which comes with a fork. That site also sells a bell housing which does not have the low ball stud provision so I am not sure if that is addressed in this kit or not.

That's the fork. It was designed to work with the lowered ball stud location. Those bell housings are not what you want. Search Ebay & post a wanted ad in the for sale/wanted section. Some could have the correct one for you. Just expect to get one for the 153 tooth flywheel.

Thanks for the response. I was able to source the correct bellhousing. Should arrive this week

Best of luck. Any time a proper manual transmission can be fitted to a G-Body...... It's a good thing.... 🙂
