I've had the SC&C Street Comp Stage 2 Plus on my Monte for quite a few years now with the SPC upper arms.
I don't recall ever seeing the arms making contact anywhere.
That SC&C Stage Two Plus kit made a huge difference in how the Monte handled.
I have no regrets !!

You don't want that. Just jacking the car up will over-extend them and likely end up with a puddle on the floor. Shouldn't be an issue though as the upper arms should contact before this happens
I ended up buying a set of the UMI adjustable uppers with the built bump stops. It met all of my needs and another member on here had a set that was not working with his wheel combo so I bought his set. I appreciate everyone who had positive input, I have learned a bunch in the last few days! I am now on the hunt for my spring, shock and sway bar combo, UMI is seeming a likely contender as they have packages that are all matched.
The more I read up on them, the more I believe that they have the most figured out complete package out there. I don't think I have read a bad thing about them anywhere so that says something too.
They are also a sponsor here and I believe that they offer a discount to members.
Ramey and Ryan post here on occasion and they are happy to answer questions on their products.
And their Green Machine is a test bed for many of the products they sell and it sure looks like it works pretty darned good.
Its hard to find vendors like this,I hope they know that they are appreciated !!

Saw my name, yes I do make fully adjustable uppers, with tall ball joints included, not "in the works" they're on cars right now.
Forged aluminum cross shaft, chromoly PTFE lined heims, 6061 adjustment tubes, QA1 tall ball joint. No messing with shims, gives max header clearance (no bushings in them to melt either)
$420 shipped, lead time is 2 days. Theyre pretty much the same as the SPC arms, just no bushings and mine are cheaper, including the ball joints which they omit.
Obviously I am biased but I dont think you can get anything near as good for the money, best on the market.
For not much extra I can even include a way to adjust ball joint length
As I told a guy the other day, all you are gaining in an aftermarket lower is the look, and moving the ball joint forward to counter moving it back up top, not "necessary" but I tell people its up to them. I made lowers for a while but I was doing them from scratch every time and it was hard to maintain a consistency & work flow. A friend is buying a bendtech dragon, and another bought a crossfire CNC table so I may come back out with my own, Ive been recommending UMIs lowers in the meantime They move the LBJ 3/4" forward to counter adding caster up top, and I like the guys over there so.
Does anyone know if the "medium Chrysler" thread-in balljoints used in the old UB Machine upper arms can be replaced with Howe or QA1 with taller studs?
A friends' vehicle needs a brakes update and the arms installed, finally. I was thinking 98-04 Blazer brakes, and 0.5" longer upper and lower joints.
We both have done the B-body brakes and neg-roll upper arms on other vehicles, so we aren't green but, knowledge is welcome.
Thx!
