Tank swap for fuel injection

Yes you can. A 3/8 line can only flow so many gallons.... It should be enough to support 600hp though. You planning on more than that? Obviously you'd need a good, maybe 300lph pump to support 600hp. Maybe even a 450lph
I would like to build my fuel system for 800whp on e85 though it will most likely never see over 700whp

A walbro 450? Is that enough pump to flow e85 at 800hp?
I don't believe so. E85 needs more pump than regular fuel. I'm pretty sure the engine would be too lean and start detonating at that power level with a 450lph and e85. You'll need to figure out your BSFC (brake specific fuel consumption) to size the pump(s) properly.
Just google BSFC formulas, there are tons of resources...just need to research it.

800wheel through a 4l80e and 9" is close to 1k crankshaft. It's going to take 3 of those 450s to make that on e. I'd look into a big external pump.

What fuel rail do you have? I only ask because people tend to recommend crazy big fuel line and then hook it up to the stock fuel rail which is roughly -6AN sized anyway.

I am going to be running the stock fuel rails. I’ve read that they were fine to over 1000whp. Realistically my car will most likely never see over 700 I just don’t want to overwork my fuel system. I will most likely try to get 5-600whp on 93 octane initially. Once I build a 9” I’ll switch over to e85

If the stock rails are good to that power level then -6 is as well. It's a gamble I'm not particularly comfortable with.

It will probably make the power you are looking for but there is no room for error at those levels.
