1982 Monte Carlo V8 (305). Can someone send me a picture of how their coolant temperature sensor is installed and wired on their engine? I had a replacement engine installed and there is not a temperature sensor installed or oil pressure sensor. I see the green wire for my oil temperature sensor but the sensor is not connected to the block. Thanks

Should be located between cylinders 1 & 3 on the driver side cylinder head. Sending unit will depend on if you have gauges or warning light style dash. Will have a single green wire running to it.

As ELCAM stated the temperature sensor is located at the cylinder head, Green wire.
The oil pressure sensor will be located behind and toward the driver side of the distributor or just above the oil filter on the driver side of the block. Tan wire.
Warning light sending unit looks like below.

Any Chevy V8 or V6 car with electric choke will use this one regardless of warning lights or gauges.
