yep but did it have a flux capacitor? L.O.L. powered by a Renault no wonder it took gigawatts to get him up to 88 and sebd him through time
 
:lol: When I saw this topic, I thought to myself "Whatever it is, it's wrong because the DeLorean would be the coolest thing since 1981"
 
A nice collector car to own, but a lousy investment....A CD of the same age would be over $40,000 now. At least they're not depreciating too much (in 1981 dollars).
 
From what I hear you can expect to spend about 25K to have a reliable car. Either you spend 25 and have one that is ready to go or you buy one for 10k and expect to spend 15k to get it back into shape. There is a company in Houston, TX that bougt everything form the factory when it closed and can even build "new" 81 models if that's what your looking for. Of course the flux capacitor and Mr. fusion would have to be supplied by the owner. On a side note the frame is more like the "X" frame that was used by GM in the early 60'S impalas.
