haha yah we were going to throw the old hoses on just to fire it up and put that bottle on there just to catch any overflow but decided to wait until tonight, that's obviously not part of the final setup. As you can see there are no hoses for the radiator either, hopefully picking those up tonight and waiting on my new waterneck to be delivered today as well. I'll see what i can do for the video, i might be busy getting it running good tho. Regardless when its running ill post one up.

Build pics rule. Sweet job, looks good.

YOU fire that Bad Baby up yet? Or are you gonna tease us a bit more?????

Yeah, I've had the hood on but just mostly sitting on there so i could finish the wiring and underhood stuff.
I have fired it up, it's alive and running well. Still have a few things to work out but I'll see about getting a video tonight.

just a question. why no pcv? I know its a performance engine but the pcv will help with evacuation of the gasses/fumes in the crank case. and it does help with keeping the rings sealed, not as good as a vacuum pump. it will also help keep the oil smoke/residue from collecting and dripping off the valve covers.
looks nice anxious to see video.

Haven't decided whether or not I'm going to run a PCV valve yet. I've heard varying views on running one, so we'll see. The one I had is now shot so I'll either get a new one or just not run it. For now, it's off.

I mounted mine last week, what a PITA the right hinge was to get the hood to line up. Reason why I was asking is I didn't see where to put the release spring.

It is all together but there is no daylight left by the time i get to where the car is after work hours. I'll post them asap. The closest thing i have now are these from when we were wet sanding.

I love the colors. I'm painting my car purple too.

I started painting my block that exact color but I changed my mind.I went all black with the block & heads because I'm going to paint some parts the same color as the car. The block, my wire look, & my paint was close but all of them were off & I didnt want 3 different colors so I just did the loom & the paint color.

I think it looks better all black now that i added a little color to it... What u think?

Do you have any updates???

.

Bump! When you gonna add some more pictures?

Here are some pictures of my hood and the hinges, I didn't get any of actually fabricating them. If you look close you can see where I cut and then welded.
