This is her second ever pass in the car, 12:67 @ 105mph

Thats awesome to see the look of astonishment on the face of a woman toward the sound and feeling of an engine. I think most of our women might just get happy at the fact that we are happy, but the look on your wife's face, when she starts up the car for the first time is priceless. 😀

600 on the trailor?

Thief! lol

Sounds like that thing needs a higher stall speed pretty bad.

I'm thinking he means $600 as it sits on the trailer but not including the trailer.

While I appreciate the offer, I think somebody smoked their Thanksgiving dinner, lol.

I was referring to your first post that you bought the rolling chassis for $600 (as you see it on the trailer in your picture) but what I was saying is the purchase price did not include the trailer. Didn't see any offers anywhere so we know who was really smoking their Thanksgiving dinner.

What de ...
It was pretty clear to me he meant trailer not included.
Both you guys must be riding on a tryptophan high

I still think that thing is begging for more stall speed.

I called Hughes and gave them all of my specs and they recommended the 3k stall

My friends have proven Hughes wrong a few times. They're notorious for going on the conservative side, especially when the cam is a little small like what you have.
Most of them have moved on to ATI, Coan, or PTC.
210cc heads, single plane intake; They missed it.

A drag race application shouldn't sound like it comes alive when it's 500 ft out from the line. It should launch at peak torque or slightly higher and stay at full song all the way down.

Also if you haven't done so already you should probably lock out the timing advance in the distributor.
Half way down page four.

Leaving at such a low rpm I guarantee you the engine will like it at the strip. The street is a different story.
If you have hard starts after locking out the advance simply get the engine spinning then turn on your ignition.
Also make sure to use good gas.
