No worries about the Chevy engine. I had a perfect 350 Chevy just sitting around. I need to get this Olds moving a lot better my initial plans where to build my Olds 350 BUT!...the new plans are use the sbc for fun while the Olds 350 is being built. When life hands you an Olds 307 you build an Olds 350 lol.

I dont think I posted any details about the frame swap but its off a MCSS. Every things already there🙂.

I'm still driving the cutlass around. Until I have every thing ready for the swap I wont park thus car for good.

So for now Im harvesting all the parts i need and just messing with the car here and there. I removed the side trim. The silver was peeling. And also the mud flaps. Ill restore those pieces eventually.

It's always strange when I see a clean car like yours and the frame is rusted out.

I'll take that compliment lol. Yea infact before i bought it I checked for rust it looked typical but as i drove it(not like the granny who owned it) the last rear setion revealed itself. It was covered in some mesh material and a rubber type sealant covered it or more like held it together lol. It was Bad...and still is. But not for long. Sad thing is these frames don't hold up to any moisture.

Haven't been posting updates in a while but that doesn't mean work has stopped. Glad to update with some major upgrades for the cutlass. A bunch of poly bushings painting up the control arms black and installing the bushings with poly boots. Painting rear sway bar red. Spindles black. Tie rods black with poly boots. Quick ratio steering box silver. Poly upper bump stops. Moog sway bar bushings. Poly SB links. Frame is bare now. Paint up all the arms and small pieces so we can get ready to install In the spring.
