sounds good, any bushed lifter likes a nice thin and clean oil

Well,it's nice and clean.
Just changed the oil & filter before I fired it up after putting the new lifters in.

The intake and water pump got a fresh coat of PoR 15 black engine enamel.
I had a new set of 0.120 thick AFR gaskets that are specific for these heads. They fit the water port closer than the FelPro gaskets I put on last year.

Forgot to mention that I got the wife to give me a hand to set the timing.
I had the timing light hooked and the distributor hold down loosened off and the engine warmed up.
I got her to rev it up to 2500 RPM,( Daytona Sensors calls for 2000 RPM,but I like a bit more),and I got it set to 34 degrees BTDC right on the money !!
It wasnt off very much, maybe a degree or two.
Good for now..
