That was true at that time. it might have been the cooler ambient temps that caused it to go down in temp, for lack of a better phrase, while still being at operating temp. It still needs a radiator anyway. And probably a fan clutch, a better fan, new thermostat, rererereseal the thermostat housing (dont have to, but replacing the thermostat necessitates that), etc.from your first post...."the lower hose is near room temp, top hose is almost too hot to touch"...." the lower hose is near room temp, top hose is almost too hot to touch"

now that you have a temp gun the top is 150 and bottom is 130 so that is "slightly" different than your other post....
not pointing it out to pick on you, just trying to suggest don't jump off the deep end until you can properly check it out. It'll be easier on your nerves......😉
