I just revisited this and thought I’d post a couple pics of the CAI that I built to make the cowl hood functional . Since I just had a filter on the throttle body, as soon as the fans fired up the performance would drop.

My old TPI setup did the same thing with the cone filter just mounted on the front. When I redid it to the twin CAI it made a huge difference!

Whose? Mine or Xitabl's?
Yours, although Turna may have called it. I thought LT4s used centerbolt heads...unless you have adapter s under there to enable the talk valve covers.

Actually, my old setup is a Holley Stealthram EFI intake which is based off the speed density TPI intake prior to the LT4. It uses TPI style Bosch injectors, throttle cable, has a 1000cfm BBK throttle body and kicked tail. The intake is for the old school sbc design, and is currently residing in my basement waiting for someone to buy it.

I love when these old threads comeback. I'm in the middle of doing a long time swap. I'm using all Factory harness, and I'm just having a heck of a time pinning out the c100 bulkhead connector. it's all good though I can't wait when it's done.
