2" OD Tube length = 49.625" . You'll need 3 ft of 4x4 angle to make the (2) frame mounts. Once they are cut, shaped ( to clear the bumper mounting flange on the rear frame horn ), and welded, you will need to make the (2) bumper mounts. You can make these out of the 4" angle, and cut them down to 2". Then weld them to the side of the frame mounts.
You guys are big sissies. I took a hole saw and added a trailer ball in the bumper on my 88 CSC. I hauled my probably 2000 pound 16' fiberglass Vanguard boat many Kilometers. The slimy boat launches, trailer tires and overheating with the 403 were much more challenging than any worry of the bumper coming off. These are full frame cars, totally different the necessary Curt Hitch for our unibody Challenger.

27lbs. I’ll try to grab a photo of it with the trailer on the car.
Thanks for the pics James, it appears your hitch attaches at the bumper shock bolts. I already was into copying what Jake attached so that’s where I went and ended up.
At the end of this mess, I’m $62 in steel and I stole the receiver section from another hitch in the junkyard for $10. I had to use the welder we have at work because my 110/120 volt was only good enough to tack it together.
Geesh I thought it was heavier. And F Northern Tool and Curt and the 6-8 weeks of lead time B.S.
