Lilbowtie,
Thanks for posting a pic of your cooler installation... Nicely done!
Thanks again.

Jack, I made a short video for you. I assume you can weld since you made you bumpers. I used aluminum, but steel is also an option.

Hey Jim,
Thank you very much for taking your time out and making a custom video just for me....
I appreciate that, buddy... and I'm honored. :notworthy:

Come to think of it, you did cover it a bit in your build thread.
So you actually made two T-brackets, if I understand correctly, and you fastened the cooler to the upper and lower T-brackets using the rod ties. I must say, I do like the way you did yours.

My concern is to be able to mount it away from the condenser and behind the X-braces. But I see that there should be enough clearance between there.
You are going to run A/C, aren't you?

I did pick up some 1"x1/8"x4' aluminum bar stock, plus I have some accumulated scraps. I may just bolt the bar stock to the rad support using small nuts and bolts.

I will run your video again for additional support.😉

Jack, not a problem sir, easier I think in the video than trying to type it out. The bracket is all one piece, one vertical, from hole to hole, than 2 smaller horizontal to mount the zip tie thingies to. I have a new AC condenser in there, and the aluminum radiator. the cooler fits behind the braces, but it is all close for sure.

Also, sorry I couldn't keep the damn phone right side up the whole time, d'oh!

Just bolt it to the bottom of the core support right behind the cut-Out on the bumper. One hole is already there on a raised bump. Just drill one more hole. Easy.

Jim,
I see how you've done it now...sorry for the misunderstanding. :doh:You have one vertical bar and two horizontal bars to fasten the cooler to...I see now, said the blind man.

Thanks again, Jim..:friday:

Yes sir that is correct. I did it like that since I didn't want to see the mounting bars through the grill. I felt that was the best way to hid them.

DoubleV,
Yes, I eyed that raised area with the hole in it already. It makes sense to use that and just drill a hole on top somewhere.

Thanks man!

Thanks Jim,
I'll probably paint the bars flat or semi-flat black so they disappear behind the grille...once I get it all mocked up.
