I checked my factory service manual, and it does show the bushings, just trying to figure out why they'd be necessary. My car is a Salon and had the infamous GN body bushing, but kind of glad it doesn't have more rubber in it.

Thanks for letting me know!

Well it turns out Grainger is only open weekdays from 7am - 5pm. So that means I guess I'll never be going there.

I ended up ordering some 50a rubber from mcmaster-carr instead.

Let me know how you may out. I used a drill to make the holes, then and exacto knife to clean them up. I sharp utility knife cut the rubber. I never though to take pics when I did mine.

So here's the aftermath:

This is the rubber that I used:

I cut it with a band saw and drilled it out with a 1/2" drill bit. The holes aren't very clean but they worked just fine. I go the bolts to go through them and that's what counts.

here's the finished pieces:

I used the extra metal pieces from the FrameFX kit I used as the metal backing. Then I used 10 x 1.5 clip on nuts on those pieces. I was going to weld something on them but I grabbed the wrong nuts so I just used the clips.

Here they are installed on the car:

only reason you would want rubber bushings in the cross member is to keep a knock sensor from detecting false knock when shifting.. Wish I would have seen the post earlier, as I have a few sets of used bushings in good shape
