i meant that your fuel system could be no more than 6" of hose at island dragway, in great meadows, NJ. its an NHRA track, so rules are more than the non NHRA tracks. motorcycle rules are more stringent too. full leathers and a teather kill switch required.

why not go to the drag strip and ask one of the tech inspectors before you go. or get a rule book.

If your buying a tubing bender, don't cheap out. I've used this one for years and its been great bending everything from aluminum to stainless steel.

That looks like an awesome bender :!: Whats the price tag on that thing :?:

Around $40 at most places like Summit Racing (which is the same bender they just label it with their name), Sears, Eastwood, etc.

I only saw one negative review on Sears website but the guy must have used it like a Gorilla complaining that he snapped it like a piece of plastic.
I've had two of these for more than 5 years and the only way I can see you breaking the thing is if you run over it with the car, saw it in half or try to possibly bend 3/8" solid rod with it.
I've used it to bend 1/4" solid rod though with no problems.

Not sure how the cheaper one works but the beauty of this one is the articulating handle. It has a spring loaded collar that allows the handle to start out parallel with the tubing and when you reach the 90* mark, pull the color and the handle extends out perpendicular to the tubing and gives you more leverage for making the full 180* bend.
