That is right, 300 was the HP rating on the LT-1.They were 345 ft/lbs stock. So a tune and exhaust might push awful close to 400 ft/lbs.
Maybe I should have opted for the billet drum, but that’s another $375.

will the car move at all with a broken drum? I had a 700r4 that hit second pretty hard all the time , then it failed after a shift to second, it still moved but real slow if I gave it lots of RPM's. Just want to know if its toast or maybe something else.How much power are you making? The dreaded forward drum fails a lot above 400 ft/lbs.

They are from Coys Wheels, I think they are called 67s? 17x8f and17x9r, and I have to run a 1” spacer in back. I painted the gold, they were argent when I got them.I have a off topic question about the rims. What size and who made them? I'm looking for something similar for my 442.
