I use the button that came with the distrubitor cap from Autozone. Maybe it is the wires.. Im a little suspect about them. I will be changing them this weekend and putting in new plugs.. Autozone the plugs are gapped at .80 does that sound right to you?pontiacgp said:what button are you running in the cap?....also if your plug wires have too much resistance, shorting out or your plug gap is too wide your you'll put too much load on the rotor and cap
