Because it has the rear spoiler, I would have to swap a Vin 7 in it and build it with GM parts. It's my rule that cars with Factory rear spoiler cannot be left stock. They must live up to the promise of the rear spoiler.
LOL ! Luckily for me I have another Aero with a rear spoiler that should live up to it's expectations 😆 👍

Back before my garage was overflowing, I would jump on things like this and a few thousand miles of driving is my idea of a vacation.

I still have 3 open projects and my kid just bought a $1,000 944 for me to restore that I haven't even seen yet so I've got to work harder to wrap stuff up so I can jump on the next opportunity like this.

Awesome to hear. Is it still parked in the street or can someone move it elsewhere? Sorry to hear about that guy’s injury but glad it’s working out to get the car.
It's in the driveway, not on the street. He exaggerated that statement... luckily. I can back the trailer straight up to the front wheels, and pull it up onto the trailer. The family friend says there are construction workers on site doing renovations on the home, and they may help load. I might not even have to use the winch. The tires are said to hold air for a day or two. I just need 20 minutes.

Depending how fast they leak down you may need to either air em up or re tighten the straps/chains/etc every so often.

I'd imagine that as the air is lost the car would sink towards the deck and what was right holding it down would develop some slack letting the load try to shift some.

Might even be worth just bringing a spare good set along to swap over in the driveway? Just a thought.

Take spares and a cordless impact. We've been down that trail. If you have a coupe of wheel dollies, then take them as well.

Did I miss it - are the keys with it?

More power to you brother - go get it!!!!

Good luck, James.
I hope the entire mission goes smoothly and uneventfully.. You should write a book about your adventures. I'm sure it would be an interesting read.
Be safe out there. We're all rooting for you, buddy.

I think your new name should be Aero man....or Aero king.😊

I have them loaded already.

Tools are sitting in the garage waiting to be loaded. Keys are with the car.

Thanks for the well wishes, Jack. ^^^ I like those names. Aero King ...

The family friend sent me a pic last night while I was sleeping.
