I mean, everything is there. Correct hoses, heat shields, turbo qjet, spark box, even the AC is there. Idk if it works but its there. Someone took a lot of time to do this. Why? Who knows. Its still neat I suppose.

Saying that has a grand national drivetrain is like claiming your 99 silverado 4.8 has an LS7.

I think the car will end up on a dirt track tradin paint and the engine will end up in a junk yard somewhere.

is it a buckets and console car?

The only part of that drivetrain that's worth anything would be the crankshaft. And that's if it still has a turbo crank in it. The rest is barely worth its weight in scrap. Been there done that. Once had a 79 turbo Riviera engine and guess what? 90% of it went on the scrap pile, i couldn't give the stuff away.

Yep. Buckets n console. 6k factory tach, full gauges.

Mulled it over.
Don't want it. Rusty and weird does not equal want.

No matter how much that dealer (and the dealer part ruins it) says it's rare, its not. Hard pass. Zach want some spare hot air parts? Lol.

That engine would be great to put in my T Type but it really wouldnt be worth 2k.

It is kind of neat. It reminds me of that guy that was rebuilding one of these engines to put into his car. I tried taking him out of it. I proved you can make some good power from one of these engines, but it is not cost effective though. Once mine goes t*ts up, I am going to build what we all want to see. A turbo 3800 Series Two in a G Body! That car would be a hard pass for me.
