I've seen few but the carburated ones aren't nearly as powerful as the newer fuel injected ones.

I definitely have never heard of this engine option. i didnt know that these cars came with this engine as an option. wish i had the money, i would definitely pick this thing up

The Chevys did have their own N/A 229 V6, BUT, the turbo motors were all based off the Buick 231 V6.

my picknpull has had a 1980 tubro buick regal with the same engine just like this for a good 5 weeks or so now

ohh alright thanks for correcting me haha i like the turbo montes. i have another question...not to steal this thread but is there a difference between the turbo buick 3.8L aand a N/A v6? like internals? other then the turbo,intercooler, etc...

I had a Regal with this motor, I pulled it for a Buick 350. The 350 was way better stock, IMHO.
