Turn signal problem

Old plastic gets brittle so when I changed the turn signal switch I also changed the turn signal cancel cam since it's cheap and sits just under the switch..

That's one of my problems....it won't cancel after turning......

383s10- the cancel springs break alot you can get new springs without replacing the whole switch. The switches arn't the greatest either.
