I wouldn't trust the B body brake to stop those wheels with the extra weight plus the extra leverage
That's a nice looking wheel.I personally don't care much for the huge wheels unless they "fit" the build style, and the owner upgrades the brakes. I see it all the time here in Louisville....but it burns me to see them huge wheels with stock brakes! That's just asking for disaster!
In stock form, the factory rallye's fit the look of our cars with the raised white letter tires. My cutlass looked great with black paint, black and chrome olds rallye's and BFG's....View attachment 74258
When I had the Centerline's it looked killer...

However, once the paint is done the 14's will be retired with a 17" version of what I think will look right at home....View attachment 74259
Obviously, opinions and build styles are like a-holes, we all have em and whatever suits ones fancy then so be it! Rant over lol!
I invite a lot of people to the page especially to get good advice but the moment you mention anything over 17s they are considered circus wheels etc or how they want fit. a lot of things I just google before I ask bc the purist will eat you alive on here sometimes lolsigh. STOP LIKING THINGS I DON'T LIKE. I'm in a mood to lock this thread. Did we really need to bring this up? I mean, there's a whole crowd of people I'd love to have as members but every time somebody posts something bigger than a 17" wheel its ZOMG BIG WHEELS SUX0RS and everything else.
