Our Green Machine spent the summer racing on coilovers. In the interest of product development and quality control, we decided to grab a set of 3051's off the shelf and see how it sat. Turns out, it sits pretty nice!

The front springs are wound from 5160 CrSi premium wire and feature a linear 600 lb/in rate. The rear springs are wound from 9254 CrSi premium wire and feature a linear 130 lb/in rate.

The shocks are the UMI S41030 monotubes built to provide a medium firm ride with a good amount of rebound control.

Since it was really nice out today we went for a back road rip and decided that this car works pretty awesome. Definitely daily-worthy but also quite capable in a performance situation!

I like that you have the linear rear springs and you let us know the spring rate...:)

question for me steve-kreta? if so I got it at the salvage yard for a real good price! Found it under a budget race car Monte carlo along with solid hotchkis control arms and braces! also found one for my Cutlass from a 442 beyond saving! that one needs restoring a bit but it is a open 3:73 diff. just picked up a trutrac 30 spline lsd unit. Just need 30 spline axles and a rebuild kit maybe even c clip kit!

I just noticed something, did you do something with the front end to move the front wheels back?
