I sat in traffic behind a plate, 5THROCK. Couldn't figure it out until my mind zoomed out and I realized it was bolted to a Saturn....

Liked the wagon, assumed the plate referred to 'non-Estate' finish. I get it now. 🤥

They had me sign a waiver to skip the required paperwork for the doctor to use a marker to mark which side he was going to work on. They said since there's only one...I asked if I didn't sign it what would happen. They laughed and said that I'd have a different color opening depending on what marker the doctor used. I quickly signed it. 😲

hey just curious, did you bother to ask your doctor about that "non-invasive" test called cologuard? you basically provide a stool sample at home and mail it off for testing.

this is the criteria from the faq section of their website:

Cologuard is now approved to screen adults 45 years old and older at average risk for colorectal cancer. This does not include individuals who have a personal or family history of CRC, have IBD, personal history of adenomas; have a relevant familial (hereditary) cancer syndrome or have had a previous positive CRC screening result in the past 6 months. Patients should talk to their healthcare provider to determine if Cologuard is appropriate for them.

In certain situations in life it helps to have a sense of humor. LOL

Glad to hear all went well. With colorectal cancer on the rise (probably mostly due to all the processed foods we all eat) the prep is a really a small price to pay. Colorectal cancer is easy to screen for and very treatable when caught early. I've only skimmed this thread and I'm sure it's already been mentioned but there are much better laxatives out there than even 10 years ago.

So enjoy taking a day or two off work, hold your nose and drink the nasty prep, get a book or your phone and sit on the toilet and get your money's worth out of your sewage bill. Enjoy the awesome anesthesic drugs they give you and get the damn tube shoved up your *ss. All good and do it again in 5 years.

I think next time I'll put a string in my a*s with a pull ring on it with a tether tag stating "Pull cord before colonoscopy" but I'm not sure how much of a sense of humor my doctor would have for such things. He's not much of a jokester.

Cologuard seems more like something you do if you suspect cancer. It won't show you if you have polyps or lesions or anything else.

Believe me, if I could just sh*t in a box and send it, I'd do it. But it doesn't give you the whole picture. And I'd probably lay a plastic fork in there next to the turd with a note that said "Bon Appétit!" 🙂

I'll bet the UPS guys are thrilled about the Cologuard thing. Speedy delivery!
