This is why it's always important to check a used car 100%. I'm taking all the old stuff out for harnesses anyway but this was the driver side seat belt. I guess the old owner preferred black interior over white

I always pull the seat belt out all the way to check it.

It was atleast stapled in alot of places. Next to duct tape, the staple can fix alot of things. I bet that guy works for NASA.

How do the staples even hold the two ends of the belt together?
