GM has had 2 SBC 4.3 V8s over the years. The first was in 1975 and 1976, and if I remember correctly, the RPO code was LV2, and it was an option in the Chev Monza and Nova. The later 4.3 V8 was the base V8 in the 1995 and 1996 Caprice, and was listed under the RPO code L99. Basically, it was a small displacement LT1.
