MONTE CARLO WANT TO RAISE THE RIDE

Installing coil overs is more work than just swapping in springs. Rear springs any 16 year old can do with instructions phoned in from thousands of miles away:

Unbolt the shocks with the frame on jackstands,
lower the axle with a floor jack,
springs fall out.

Fronts are a little harder but not that hard:
Frame on 4 jackstands
floor jack under lower control arm
loosen top shock nut but DO NOT REMOVE
undo lower ball joint
put something (cinder block, bucket, etc) under spindle/brake/upper control arm to keep it out of way
Remove Lower control arm bolts
Lower floor jack to lower LCA and shock and spring.
Remove shock nut and lower jack to remove spring.

Reverse steps to install but use a LARGE screw driver to line up LCA bolts after jacking LCA back up into place. You mak have to reposition the floor jack on the LCA a few times, and or put the spindle into the lower ball joint to get the LCS holes to line up when jacked up with spring load. As long as the shock nut is back on there is no fear of the spring going anywhere.

without knowing what you're looking to do-changing the rear springs is pretty easy and cheap.
the front spring ratio is two to one so if you if you placed a half inch aluminum spacer between the bottom of the spring and the spring pocket in the control arm it'll raise the height about an inch.honestly if you go that route it's almost the same work to change out the spring.again this all depends on what you're looking to do of coarse.
