Weather stripping Question - door window

OK I am putting on new weather stripping around the doors. The rubber scraper stirp the fits on the exterior of the door along body is my focus. The kit I got has 44" long stirps and the stock ones are 47". All the other parts are OK. Did I get a kit for a different car?

Aftermarket weatherstripping often doesn't have as good of a fit as the originals.

If you're stuck with them, the sedan/wagon guys may be interested - we can cut down the coupe strips to fit the shorter four-doors.
