I wondered about painting my bike two tone when I had it shot 2 years ago but just couldn't talk myself into it. Having done almost everything I wanted to short of some new speakers I decided to try out a vinyl two tone. I picked up
5ft of pearl white vinyl
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DMEFV1E/?tag=gbody-20

Felt squeegee
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0065KKXL0/?tag=gbody-20

Knife Less Tape
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XULNZI0/?tag=gbody-20

I tried out one side starting with a side cover

Then moved to a bag

Then the tank side but I jacked it up when I went to pull the filament so I scrapped it

I did the left bag with a different line, I wasn't too hot on the first bags line not flowing with the bag

I still need to decide on how I want to do the front fender, whether I do the side or a stripe down the middle and look at the back fender.

And today I finished the tank and front fender before I ran out of vinyl.

Pulled the front fender and I ended up doing it in two pieces as I was running out of vinyl. I hid the seam behind the fork leg

Made a pattern to keep it somewhat symmetrical

And back together

I need to get it outside for the full effect plus order more vinyl to match the left side bag pattern and layout the fairing.
