Gateway has a showroom right around me.

They're notoriously high, and usually because they're on Consignment. Owner wants, say, $10k... they sell it for $14k

fastlanecars.com does the same thing..

Personally, I think its where people with a boatload of disposable income go to buy their "classic toys" to park in their 15 car garage...

Fun places to visit and look around, but the sticker prices can be pretty comical.

Nothing wrong with that. I'd do it too. But if you don't like the price, just move on. It's fun to make fun of the pricing when it's whacked like this, but doubt you'll change their mind. Of course you might if it's still for sale 5 years from now.

Completely agree... When friends come in from out of town on their motorcycles, we do a little ride which is set up to take breaks at places like Fastlanecars.com and gateway... Just to get off the bikes for awhile, gawk (and sometimes drool) over classic cars... I know the guy at fastlane.. Im on the wall because I bought a car from em about 15 years ago.. 2000 Trans Am, Triple Black, WS-6 Ram Air, Hurst 6 Speed, T-tops.. couldn't put another option on that thing. It was fun.. 15k miles, ultra-clean, 3 years old... maybe 4 at the time? $19k, which was pretty fair..
