Did ya happen to throw a small sliver of ice into it once it got really cold? Seems that doing that trick will make most of the water in the booze migrate to the ice chip and bond to it. Small chip in, large chunk out. Bumps the alcohol percentage a point or two.

My dad loves this stuff. For me my rums of choice are these. The Los Reys I picked up at a Mega in Puerto Vallarta. Unfortunately the Los Reys isn't anywhere in Canaderp and I haven't found the Whalers in stock anywhere for ages.
