I wish I could find any actual 12yo single-malt Hibiki any more. That was probably in my top 5 I've ever had. 😭

Looks like only my 2nd favorite team (I've got one al, one nl) can make the world series, gonna watch the braves game tonight.

Not sure whether I'd want more if they win, or if they lose?

Edit: I decided it might make a fun addition to the thread if we started posting some info about what we were drinking? It's a lot easier for each of us to look up and post our one beverage of choice, then just read about 20 others, than it is to have to look up info on everyone eles cans. Thought it could be fun. Others, choose to participate in that part if you want.

So my beverage tonight:

Wife and I stopped at the seadog brewery in Maine when we were there a few weeks ago.

They had a blueberry beer that was really good!

Best Maid Pickle Favored Ta-killya? URF. Enjoyed un-adulterated IPA when i was younger. Enjoyed Bourbon, Beam's Choice, again many years ago. Genuine Japanese Suntory Whisky is on the unobtanium list around here; not sure if they even export it given Covid complications. My poison of choice for many years was Lamb's Navy Dark Rum. Also enjoyed some good Jamaican and Caribbean sourced rums. The brands of Tequilla that were available locally were cheap and miserable; nasty stuff. Actually had a bottle that had the worm/larva/maggot sitting down at the bottom. It had had about one good shot left in it but the fridge failed and it got warm. Elected to toss the bottle so the worm escaped. Probably all for the best. Best Beer is a toss up. Local brewery used to make a Cream Ale called Kakabeka Cream after a local waterfall/village. There was also a beer produced locally in New York state but the name escapes me. And yeah, Long Island Tea was nice.

Tonight? Hot Lemonade. I'm on the wagon by both medical necessity and personal choice for a decade or longer. Had to make the choice when one of my specialists put me on a prescription therapy some years ago that had the potential to cause liver damage as a side affect. Had to take iron pills and get regular blood work done. Nasty stuff, still d*** near killed me. Off that now but just decided that liquor and I had reached a parting of the ways. So I don't; can and could, but don't. Makes the interviews with the doctors shorter and less animated because they don't get to lecture me on the evils of booze. Poor them. LOL
