I'm glad the T-tops don't leak, because they're aftermarket as well, and finding seals for them is a royal p.i.t.a.

Were T-Tops not a factory option for a Cutlass? What about a Regal or Monte Carlo?

T-tops were a factory option on the Cutlass, GP, Monte, and Regal.

That car did not leave the factory with T-tops.
It, like many others, was converted by either a dealer or coach builder, like Cars and Concepts.

Take a look at the front edge of the T-tops by the windshield. Notice the extra space?

Now take a look at the same front edge of the t-tops by the windshield on my 442, which was equipped with T-tops from the factory.

I didn't notice that but Blake has a point ... those aren't factory Ts I can not imagine that someone removed the windows and welded over them and I don't think any cars left the factory without having 1/4 windows cut. I bet buried under all that stuff there ARE 1/4 windows, but for novelty sake - I'd leave it alone.

come to think of it i have seen one other cutlass like that, i vaguely remember it but remember thinking WTF? It was in bad shape and the vinyl was all tore up....I was just thinking, you could always put some 24's on it and get 3x as much as you paid for it and get a H/O

i would be willing to bet that the windows are still under that top, it is a after market top, lack of the original chrome gives that away. its just like they do on cadillacs and lincolns with the simulated convertable tops, the window gets covered with the top and then they use headliner material on the inside or something similar. my parents seville that i gave them a few years back had the rear quarter windows covered up like that. difference is most tops on a cadillac add value both on looks and money wise, that thing looks horrible. those t-tops are for sure after market also, we parted a monte out a few years back that had those installed and we unbolted all of it and sold it on ebay. good idea i suppose but they look goofy with that extra space on between the windshield and the t top in my opinion. still for 500 bucks if it is solid it was a good deal

for the record, i never posted it on kijiji in barrie, not to mention barrie is 4 plus hours from me

got some pics, and there is no windows underneath that trim piece, checked and there is none, did find the build sheet under the seat, it is a little beat up, does anyone knows what 7JA,8JA,8ST or 9ST are, tried decoding it, but came up with nothing, and they are listed in the options, but here are some pics

Rims don't help a car sale. Nor do they increase your selling price. If anything, you're gonna take a loss. That bar across the roof is just too ugly. It does look like there may be quarter windows under there though.

i knew i would hear that about the windows, so i pulled (whatever that piece is called covering it on the inside) and hear u go,as stated no windows in there
