come to think of it i have seen one other cutlass like that, i vaguely remember it but remember thinking WTF? It was in bad shape and the vinyl was all tore up....I was just thinking, you could always put some 24's on it and get 3x as much as you paid for it and get a H/O

Rims don't help a car sale. Nor do they increase your selling price. If anything, you're gonna take a loss. That bar across the roof is just too ugly. It does look like there may be quarter windows under there though.
What I had meant was "urban youths" take the most ridiculous looking things and put rims on them and if the car has an unusual option the better, have a few friends like that

I'm an urban youth and I wouldn't drive that with that sh*t on the roof. I did buy my last Cutlass just because it had a sunroof though, and it was a rust bucket.

"What did I just pick up", I don't know bit it looks like a course of penicillan will take care of it.

There was a post here about those tops/bands but it has gone dead.

I had linked it over on MR, it appears they were made for Monte Carlos also.

Hi,
I know this post has been dead for over a 2 years but figured I'd post a little info anyhow.
All the factory t-tops were done by Cars & Concepts.
There were dealer installed kits that were made by Fisher. The Fisher tops were smaller in overall size.
Have a friend that had an 85 Cutlass with them.
Those look like the C&C tops but what a bad install. There should be plastic trim inside front, rear and center,
not headliner. And they're not positioned in the right place either.
Interesting and somewhat amusing ride.

Oh MY GOD I just died laughing lol

You are incorrect.
Fisher did the factory tops, C&C made the aftermarket ones.
It's all clearly shown on the previous pages of this thread.
