That's what I hear as well, the mechanic is saying I shouldn't have to Dynamat it once it is painted. I am still up in the air on that one
I was being sarcastic a bit, basically my whole Cutlass has POR on it...floors, chassis, underbody, trunk, etc. I still added boom mat to the trunk, but I have the mass backed ACC carpet so I won't have it on the floor. Might install some on the roof and inside doors and sail panels though.
1st purchase from Mike's Montes. Also picked up my 4L80.It's blue.

I bought a 8.5 rearend with aluminum drums, rear sway bar, and a set of aluminum bumpers from an 85 turbo regal for $280 off offer up. Dude named his price and i didn't hesitate. It has been my lucky month so far. Didn't need this stuff but i am turning into a Gbody parts hoarder.
been an expensive couple of weeks, SEM interior paint, Head and intake gaskets for the 455, 2 spal fans, case of comp cams break in oil, new starter gear and flex plate after the first ones got the teeth chewed up on them, front ebrake cable and the dash ebrake cable, new delco master cylinder, picked up my 4l80e from RPM transmissions after a rebuild and a new yoke, a set of doors for $100 in Tennessee while i was on vacation...... and some dash trim from fbook marketplace...... been busy trying to get her back road worthy for the Gbody Classic Garage show in Cleveland. Still needs body work but that will be a while. engine, trans, frame/suspension and interior has all been redone after i finish assembly.
