I remember those days.

I never minded, counting by hand got me some Indian pennies not to mention countless wheat cents and silver content coins, Buffalo nickels, mercury dimes. Sure, that was late 90s to maybe 2012, but, I'd suspect they're still in the wild at lesser rates

Spent almost 12 hour’s Saturday block sanding the 36 with 320 grit. I’ll come back with 400 and 600 on a da. Happy with how it’s coming and can’t wait until it’s painted and gone.

Work today? Finishing out a new build car wash. This is crunch time when we get to the end and they are ready to open BUT we have one of the main babysitters out on vacation and we had to splt the crew to finish another job. Always fun managing several projects at the same time which is every time.

So my paycheck comes building/servicing/chemical/etc anything car wash involved. We service/build tunnel car washes in the Texas/Oklahoma/Louisiana area which makes for a fun random day at any point and time.

There's a new one about to go up down the road here in Spring. One of yours?

Started sanding the 36 for polish today. Noticed a small crack in the passenger corner of the rumble seat opening. Dug in and noticed that the guy that did the metal work filled the corner with all-metal rather than a proper repair. Brought it to the owner’s attention, and now it has to be fixed properly. Decided to drink on it. One hand says panel bond, the other says weld it. Either way I’m reshooting the whole car. Can’t believe it didn’t show up until I started color sanding. Sucks
