These two styles work better than anything else I tried. Where I used to work we had a new booth with fans and a flash setting, they worked well. The owner there was a huge JO though and I’m happy as hell to be out of there. Best thing that he did was piss me off so I’d leave. So far I like my new job more than I ever liked my old one. Even if it doesn’t work out here I’ve already worked on a lot of stuff that I hadn’t over my career.
Are we going to get a pic of it back together, or did you just get the body?
Unfortunately the car is pretty much assembled. The car was built somewhere else, primed, and jambed by someone else, which caused a lot of problems. The guy also brought his own paint, again more problems. My boss never does things this way, but he took the job on as a favor. I’ve been working on this car for a few weeks now, and it was supposed to be ready for paint. Once it’s unmasked I’ll snap a pic, but the hood and deck probably won’t be on. Personally I’d leave the hood off, it has a nice nailhead in it.
