What did you do at work today?

Got the new to us car-o-liner quick 42 today. Nice rack I'm surprised how much higher it goes than the regular 17' car-o-liner rack.

I also fixed the old Datta liner I put out in the parking lot. Put a new wheel on the lift jack so I can use it for tear downs when the weather is good. Should work out good because it's right outside my office. The car-o-liner people gave me free passes to the trade show at the meadowlands in March so that should be cool.

Handed in my two weeks notice. Was tempted to walk out middle fingers a-blazing, but they'll make for a good reference and I want my PTO paid out. It was fun for a little while. Frustrating the rest of the time.

On to the next adventure.
I love a good old fashioned rage quit. lol

You heading up there? I usually hit the show on Friday. The distributor I work for doesn’t work the show, so I can go as a spectator. Although BASF has a big presence there so I’ll probably be over there.

Yes myself and some of the other managers and owners are going. Most likely on Sunday. Friday is just to busy for us all to leave and it's a Jewish company so Saturday is out of the question.

Working on some bigger stuff today for the City of Calgary’s Light Rail Transit facility.
125 hp Kaeser CSD125, the separator vessel alone is about 4’ tall. Takes almost 15 gallons of oil.

My arms tell me the separator lid alone weighs about 60 or 70 lbs. what’s more fun than dead lifting it on and off? Doing it twice. Makes the two BSD50 hp units in the distance (which I still have to do too) look positively small in comparison.

That’s an over 1000 gallon air receiver tank.

my supplier's running a van full of people up there but I can't stomach riding the short bus any longer.
