NPSM did you use Teflon tape when installing them?
No, but haven't leak tested, either. They have a copper crush washer. I used them in my Silverado, and they were okay....
I think I read somewhere that tape might crack the trans.

Spent the night lapping valves.
Sidenote: damn my bearings are shiny.

If the heads have had a recent 3 angle valve job with a deep throat cut, I would take a dremel with a 1/4" crosscut carbide burr and improve/clean up the short side radius on the heads. It looks pretty sharp.

Are the valves factory? If they are I would have the machine shop back cut the intakes. Usually this is just 5-10 bucks per valve. Stainless valves are already made that way.

Prepped the General Lee for duty again so I can move the Monte outside when needed. Gave him a fresh quart of Mobil 1 5w30 (leftovers from Natasha's Colorado), splash of high test, greased up the chains, bearings, and shafts... and added a little extra kick (NAWZ!). ;)

Nah going all the way and replacing the side frame rails with solid square steel.. Ftw lol what frame twist lmfao....

I hear I and H beams are pretty good at managing twist too...
