What did you do to your G-Body today? [2011-2018]

If the heads have had a recent 3 angle valve job with a deep throat cut, I would take a dremel with a 1/4" crosscut carbide burr and improve/clean up the short side radius on the heads. It looks pretty sharp.

Are the valves factory? If they are I would have the machine shop back cut the intakes. Usually this is just 5-10 bucks per valve. Stainless valves are already made that way.
Stock heads, stock valves. The seats look to have been lapped previously (engine was rebuilt sometime in the 1980s, then sat for 25 years) they weren't too bad. I would, but I am crunched for time and money. Heads are already assembled. Good tip though. Maybe I can apply it to my '76 heads. I do want to experiment with porting.

Spent my evening up to about 50 minutes ago tinkering on my engine with my little brother. He wanted to do something so he wire wheeled the pistons. They came out pretty good. Also, my '70 timing cover was garbage, looks like it's like wrinkled paint, but that's aluminum. The hell happened? The other cover is the one off my '76 350, aka "The Blue One". It's in better shape, so I'm using that one. My dad also got a kickass kerosene heater so the garage was toasty.

Started the day off so we'll.... Then we all know where it goes from there....lol

Got the headliner stripped and recovered, then turned to swapping the bottom rear panels.... Had to take the seats out to access the seatbelt end, and just had to look under the carpet....ended up ripping the seats and console out, and was happy to see it was in better shape than I thought, just some flakey rust... Gonna wire it out and treat it... Will post pics later

Moved the Regal to its winter resting spot in the driveway, and removed the face of my stereo and took it inside with its remote. Also found a pair of clip-on shades for my glasses in the glove box. Wish I had remembered buying those at some point during the last year and a half. 🙄

I started mine for the first time in well over a month just so I could use it to boost the boat and get it started to be winterized. So damn busy with work I got ZERO cruising in this fall !
