Like minds. I had already decided on the 235's. they are not that much bigger. Almost exactly the same height as the 215's and less than an inch wider. Good idea bout using another set of wheels. I'll check that out.

worked on the car most of this week. found out that the original owner cobbeled a power seat track from another gm car. wasn't the correct track for the seat so he widened the bolt holes and cut the seat frame to install the adjust switch. The steel seat from tore because it was weakened. My buddy tig welded a new piece in for me and now I am awaiting manual seat tracks so that I can reinstall it. Sent the tach out and got word yesterday that the circuit board was bad and it's fixed and recalibrated and on the way back. Improvised some new pieces that cover the area between the sail panels and back window that is exposed using regular vinyl cove molding that I picked up at Lowe's for 3 bucks. Bought a new exhaust from Jegs but one muffler and part of the y pipe had dents in them so I sent it back. New one should arrive this week so I will have it installed hopefully this weekend. Changed oil and will flush cooling system this week and replace with waterless coolant. Will replace both window switches next along with dying the shoulder belt bolt covers and hinge covers on the drivers seat. When I get a few bucks ahead I'll look for some tires. Any recommendations?

What color did you go with? How they tell you if you went black? A couple weeks ago when I ordered mine they said it was 200 backordered for black, so I went with gold just to have it on the next shipment.

I ordered it from EFI System Pro's. Same price as everyone else, but with good costumer support. On there sight you select the options you want. Matter of fact they called me a little bit ago and told me they did not have any black ones on hand. They have the polished ones. They will be getting them on Friday. She is going to drop ship one from the factory for me and give a 5% discount for having to wait. Were did you buy it from? I will probably need some help along the way, that is why I did not buy from Jeg's.

finally got the center dash pad installed after 2 years of running with out it. changed the small gauge lights to blue for now. something differentView attachment 85021

Some places like Summit have them in stock and can ship them if they still have them but all were back ordered at Holley just not much of a wait for the gold.

Just to be clear are you referring to the Holley Sniper or the Super Sniper? I ordered the Super Sniper. They have the polished in Stock. We're ever they get them from they are supposed to have them by Friday. She said she would have it shipped straight from the supplier to me. If nothing else she will send me a polished one, I just would rather have a black one. Who do you work for?

Sorry totally missed the super part, that's good for you because the regular sniper's are going to be hard to get it sounds like for a bit. We are just a small local shop with big aspirations

I picked up my carb today. The guy did a great job on it and it ends up that the guy who rebuilt it use to be my baseball coach back in little league. Small world
