That's what everyone says & I will accept the challange be supported by a shovel.
We used to say they should sew the shirt pockets on upside down on the county road crew uniforms so you could insert the shovel handle. That and putting your hands in your pants pockets=county work gloves.

I've hearing that from everyone since I put my name in for Penndot. Thats OK, my turn live off the state (but on a real pay roll.)

I'm not knocking it, if the county could have paid me a little more (I used to work on all their graders and loaders when I was at CAT) I would have jumped all over it. 4 10's in the summer, all your OT in the winter during snow season, no more open ended out of town trips and a 3 mile commute.

A good buddy of mine did that. Worked for Cat for about 15 years and went to ODOT. Same gig, 4 10s with lots of OT in the winter. Benefits are good, pay is OK. Truthfully, he'd rather be farming.

I fixed my broken trailer this morning. Then hauled 2 bikes in to the wilderness.

I have all kinds of non g body projects, but I am so proud of my self I have to share this one. My boss traided in our 1 inch drive impacts and bought a new one from the Mac man. So I bought the one I have used for 25 or 50 bucks. Don't remember. Someone broke it since I had used it. Tonight I finally messed with it. The direction lever had come loose and the shaft turned. That is why it did not work. Took that a part. Found the case has a piece broke, but I can JB Weld that latter. I put it back together and tightened the direction lever. It works like a champ!

It is rated at 1700 ft/lbs. They make a better model like this one that is rated at 2000 ft/lbs but it cost twice as much. So I have 50 bucks in a 1000 dollar impact. Perfect!

Take 6, yikes this is turning into lots of takes haha.

Finish welded the passenger side, this one didnt feather in as nice as the first side but I had a slight dent in the car side of the patch that I didnt pull out so that might be the mismatch between bent sheet metal and straight metal. I spread the 1st layer of filler on last night, ill sand it tonight and get in primer if all goes to plan.

Found a set of almost new blades for the Cub Cadet, so I sharpened them up and tossed them on.

And 7!

Both sides are in epoxy primer, I'll try to get it in 2K tomorrow and light sand, depending on how this epoxy ends up laying I might just shoot the black base coat right on. I also want to do my front bumper too while I have the paint mixed up. Got 70k+ miles on it since I bought it wrecked and the bumper has been in black primer still.
