Employed my garage monkey to help me detail her Mama's truck. Finally got it clean, next steps are clay bar, polish, and ceramic coat. FFS this is a lot of work...

All done. Cyber Grey Metallic. So hot, want to touch the hiney.

So far today I put the bags on the little John Deere mowed and cleaned up the front lawn. It doesn't look great but it's better than it was we live on a main road and get a lot of garbage on the lawn people throw out of there cars and I'm not touching it! Next I'm doing the side of the dirt road next to the house it looks like a biohazard with all the masks and gloves. There going to get most into the bag too!

How disrespectful people are!

Went out to the building this afternoon and gave Eric a hand with his SS 454 pickup. He's borrowing my 454 for weight on the front suspension during mock up. There's been quite a bit of deliberation about how the bed needs to be cut for the new used chassis I was tired of hearing it so I ended it with a sawzall lol

Hack it off it's only metal! The rear in it now is just for mock up also he has a fresh narrowed 60 for it that's wider so the tires will be closer to the quaters

Wanted something to drag the family out into them thar hills with and can't justify the 15k+ a UTV costs. Settled on this non-running WJ Cherokee Laredo. 205k miles, 4.0 straight 6, auto trans, select Trac 4x4 so it has 2wd, 4wd part and full time, and 4wd low range. Hooked a battery charger to it and it fired right up! It had a smoked fuse for the ECM and a couple broken wires in the driver's door flex joint. I'm betting that the fuse wasn't a fluke thing and will eventually have to actually find the underlying cause. It has a brand new radiator, both upper and lower hoses, and 12 miles on a fresh oil change. I drove it twenty miles around the 'hood then tried out the 4x stuff on the property. Works great for having the sway bars connected and bald street tires on it. I have a set of 265/75/16 Cooper Discoverer SSTs that will go on it with a couple inch lift. Need to do something about the huge bumpers and it's utter lack of protection for the radiator. Not bad for $600 bones.
