What did you do to your non g-body project today [2025 edition]

New windshield. Local place, 2020 Auto Glass. Did good work on the regal, glass seems quality so I used em again. In and out in 45 minutes, $250 cash.

Took a bunch of wheels and tires to Air Capital Auto Salvage and fully expected to drop $100 to dispose of them. I had Ken Boot (owner, operater, stellar human) remove the tire from the only G Body rally wheel I had with me as I intended to keep all 4 for rollers. When it came time to settle up, Ken said "No charge" cuz he's cool like that. He mentioned having trouble locating said wheels, so I said "keep it" & agreed to bring the other 3 from home so he had a full set. I don't need 'em & he can use 'em- seems fair to me.

Another word about Ken: he's the ONLY salvage yard that will let me in the back, and the man knows how to treat customers. If you're ever near Haysville KS please stop in and give him your business- the EPA hasn't been kind to salvage yards here and most have been closed permanently. He might even give you a gift such as this remnant from when they stacked cars 4 high and used mag wheels & VW engine blocks to get fires hot enough to melt everything. This is glass that bubbled up out of the ground from at least 60 years ago.

Following that, we drug 2 hope chests and a busted recliner from the basement in preparation of the incredibly awesome makeover I'm giving it. You better step up your Man Cave, gentlemen, you've got new competition.

Triple pipes!

Got it rejetted, buttoned up, test rip complete. Sounds sick, definitely pulls harder. Need to ride it in the daylight to see what RPM it's pulling, but it's in the ballpark for sure. I thought it was gonna be dead wrong and power through the stock clutching and overrev but it looks like that's not happening.

Pick'd & piped!

No picks, but it does have 1.25" lugs on the track. Biggest I can fit to clear the heat exchangers as is. Plus aftermarket skis and some Ohlins shocks up front (all shocks serviced this season). I need to stick a GoPro mount to my helmet too, see how my riding looks from that angle. Can't wait to see what kind of speed the thing will pull on the trail tomorrow. It was dark when I got it all together and the trail was beat to hell right where I was at.

Been chipping away at junk in the house to make room for new goodies. Believe it or not, it took time just to get to this point- the house was STUFFED to the gills and the basement had but one footpath.

Spare bedroom as it is now, needs more work:

Stuff from the main basement got put into a previously full side storage room, both need more work of course but it's been a constant shuffle:

That's partially due to my father and I keeping things like old pillows and blown out air mattresses with good pumps. The mattresses & table have left the building and the chairs are going in the side room. The worn out ottoman will be a test subject for leather/vinyl restoring balm.

I got my new TV mounted to the bedroom wall with a H.F. mount and a piece of plywood my father insisted on taking a router to, even though it's completely covered with the TV flat.

Dad has always been artistic and has an eye for detail. When the neighborhood was still under construction he'd snag scraps of drywall to create art using an X-acto knife, and this one lived where the TV went:

For the sake of full disclosure and public embarrassment, here's a shot of the current state of the house garage:
