I'm pretty certain the lawyers and judges still wear them in Australia. I wonder what happens if you refuse to wear the wig?
"Your honor I will not be wearing a wig for this hearing because it is my personal preference to not look like a ****ing idiot"
if you refuse to wear a wig for any reason you are deemed to be a barista and not a barrister...😎
Then I would have to decide... Would I look dumber working at Starbucks or wearing a wig that makes me look like a pilgrim? That's a tough call...
