What is Base Idle?

depending on the engine it could be anywhere between 6-800rpm

sorry for the confusion. i meant what is the definition? I know what curb idle and fast idle are, what is base idle?

base idle is the RPM your car runs by itself, no high idle or no foot on the gas, with a/c off. I think I pretty much covered it.

I see. My DECI label calls for a fast idle of 2000rpm, and a curb idle in drive of 550rpm. so the base idle is the idle it would be sitting at in park off the fast idle. got it, thanks!
