I think I'm in love! There's something about a 510 that is just about perfect. That, and the retro version they made : The 91-94 B13 Sentra, especially the SE-R! The classic three box sedan just does it for me. Maybe that's why I like the Malibu coupes, late Rambler American and BMW E30 3 series so much. Nothing beats a 3 box for style and simplicity.

Do you own a classic Datsun? If so, which one? If it's a PL 510 I hate you and envy you!
I have 2 '71 510 wagons. Both are running projects that will have the best parts combined to become my wife's daily driver. It will eventually get a 3800 series II/4L60E. I drive a '71 1200 daily. These were shot at the Canby show -- largest Datsun show in the U.S.

I also did the mechanicals on my brother's 240z, 520 and 521. The 520 missed the show last year but there was buzz that it would have taken truck category. It sold a few weeks later. The 521 won first in trucks this year. They were both completed in less than 4 months each.

Wow, DRIVEN, those are some NICE pickups! I really like the green one. It's custom, but you can't put your finger on exactly how unless you know what it looked like new. It's cool to see that I am not the only one here who is into old school imports. I want to build one for my next project, but good 510's are no longer the cheap cars they used to be. I may go early 90's (EG or B13) instead of 70's, simply because the parts are easier to find.
