I have still yet to pick mine up (the next two weeks are gonna kill me). I'm sure between now and then I'll come up with a million different possible setups for the car. Right now I'm kinda leaning to the "Mad Max" style of a build, black everything, reinforced everything, big power (but no super charger out of the hood) and looking to build on the cheap so lots of scrounging parts.

I'm going back to the look of my original Monte that I bought new in 78.

Back in 1978 with my original Monte running on Keystones

well I haven't picked up another G-Body just yet but if I get another 81-88 Cutlass I voted for the pro-touring...I'm going too go kinda inline with the FE3X dath vader type build.Nice mild 350 rocket OD transmission 3.42 or 3.73 rear all the ammenities in the cockpit you would expect a road cruiser too have. I have my 72 Cutlass that I'm goin the musclecar resto mod route with 500 CI Olds big block th400 3.90 or 4.11 12 bolt rear. Hurst mags Both cars will both have Hurst shifter thats mandatory in my vehicles LOLIf by some chance I pick up another 79 H/O I guess I'll have 2 muscle car resto mods in the stable

i'm debating as well. not sure if protour, stock, resto-mod.
my 82 was purchased first and pro tour was the plan.
then i found the 86 a month later. got from orig owner, has 38 options and is as loaded as it can come.

is it going to be worth anything? who knows. i've always liked stock resto's.

i would like to upgrade a few things. 2+2 nose, TPI or LS motor, keeping interior stock mostly, body stock mostly. this car will be driven in "anger" which is why i purchased it.

i guess my current thoughts are............making a 2+2 hybrid that Pontiac should've built w/the parts they had available in parts bin.
