Ok-Alittle more info on my 83 Hurst. This car had been hit, front driver side, although the repairs were done when i bought it.The damage was bad enough to bend the drivers side front stub .{frame}There are hammer marks in it.Also hit hard enoughto push the engine back somewhat....the air cleaner on the passenger side snorkle has some damage. The fire wall on the same side also shows signs of impact.Pasenger door was repainted, Gas tank had a big dent on the bottom side.As you can tell, this was not a like-new car.How ever, the actual miles are just 47,000 doc.Sure we could have restored it back to org.,but what the hay.

Lets talk about Engines, you say we are installing just another chevy engine...wrong thing to do.If oldsmobile and Pontiac were around today,do you think they would have there own power plants ?I think not.I think all GM companies would be installing /usiing the same engines.Pontiac was usiing {GM} motors just before they went under. The same ones Chevorlet uses. They market the new engines as GM engines.I think Olds would have been doing the same thing. In the business world we have today inventory means alot.Less is more i guess, this is why we see engines being used universally across company lines of product. This car we are building will be unque and fun to drive, keeping it fuel injected.Just my thoughts.sorry for any mis-spellings.

Hey as long as your keeping it GM its good by me. Good luck.
